"Dirt Racer" Xt600 / Lions Den Motorcycles

-  "The frame has been heavily modified and a new subframe fabricated to give it that aggressive cafe racer stance. The engine has been tuned with a big bore kit, Wiseco piston, gas flowed head and is fed juice via Keihin CR racing carbs. At the front there is a handmade smoked perspex fairing behind which sit two HID angel eye headlights which give it a mean and futuristic look. Front mudguard and rear hugger were fabricated in house from flat sheet aluminium. At the rear, a hand carved solid Zebrano seat (four months work!), coated in an epoxy resin to give it a high gloss finish. The foam pad has been upholstered in a beautiful brown leather complete with pleat top stitching. The seat also pivots on the frame, pushed up by a gas strut and held in place by a bearing mechanism. This reveals the incredibly neat wiring that includes components from Motogadget. The wheels are custom built with black rims and stainless spokes sitting on Avon tyres. There are various brass details throughout the design which includes a solid brass engine cover with engraved lions head logo. To finish it off it is painted in a deep gloss black, no ordinary black mind you, a dusting of gold pearl is sprinkled into the mix. Gold pearl pinstripes and metal effect silver line the tank, front mudguard and rear hugger. It also features some of our own bespoke parts including the handlebar switches, brake fluid reservoirs and rear sets.  "  -
